Military time!

Anjong,

and yes it is anjong in german pronunciation!

Yesterday I met with my two heartthrobs Youjung and Dawoon! Of course, this is not so special for you, but this time there was something interesting....

Dawoon put his military uniform on! He looked very manly and very authoritative!

I really liked his uniform! Even his name had been stitched into his cap! So no one can steal it... but me...
The mark on the cap means, that he has finished military service, so he is kind of graduated soldier!

We went to a makkoli house and he introduced us to gul-makkoli (makkoli with honey)! Youjung and me loved it! It was the first time for both of us to drink this delicious stuff!
Anyway... maybe I can tell you something about korean military.... In fact Dawoon was military driver, thats why he drives so safe and convenient! In Korea every guy is supposed to do military service for two years... even if they are in university, they have to take a break! The main point in doing this is of course North-Korea!
By the way, in the neighbor-country men are supposed to be 11 years in military and women 7 years! Which is kind of crazy...
And now coming back to last night... Dawoon had to wear his uniform, because he is supposed to go to kind of military trainee every year... like in switzerland...

Okay, so this was a little lesson in Korean military tradition! Have a good night!
