Manjanggul Cave - The Lava tunnel!

Anjong,

yesterday it was very raining on Jeju, thats why we planned to go into the underworld! After sleeping a little bit longer we went by bus to the cave.

We very supposed to walk about 20 min from the bus stop, but actually we took a taxi, because of the rain. The landscape changed again completely in compare to the last two days. We saw some colza fields , which were very beautiful.

In front of the cave there was something like a park, but we didn't enjoy (rain).
Then we found the entrance which sooked a little tropical again.

We walked about 50 min in the tunnel. It was so cold, just about 14°C, but it felt much colder!
The archetype of the wall show where the surface of the lava flow was, because it got cold at the borders.
It kind of looks like a subway tunnel with all the lights!

I was a little bit scared of a loss of power. So dark....

This is the "Turtle - Rock" it is kind of symbol for Jeju island!

At the end there was the lava-origin. of course cold and hard, but it used to be the origin.

 Here the proof, 14°C!
And in the park the symbol of the cave!

Was a quiete relaxing day, I even went to the gym at night, because we didn't had such a big program.

The next morning we left for Seoul!
