Korean Christmas!

tonight we had a romantic winter dream!

Marlena and me met up with Youjung and Clara to see Nampodong in its christmas dress. And what can I say... it is so romantic to walk through the streets watching the lights and the flashes everywhere. Even it is cold out there in these days in Busan you really feel the love and the joy of the people on the streets. 

Of course everybody is taking pictures (because I am in asia) of their partners, friends and kids! Even if some of the kids are tired of getting photographed by their parents all the time you can see how proud they are, both parents and kids. 

I even recognized more couples cuddle each other or glance at each other. Maybe it is because of the low temperatures that they embrace each other, but maybe its the christmas spirit. 

I think I have to add, that christmas is more a couple festivity then a family thing. So they anticipate to celebrate it together...

The style of the lights is comparable with the german ones, but there are so many details we do not have in germany. Or I just did not recognized them before.

 Here you can see the christmas boat! I dont know if it should represent the ark, but on every TV screen there was a different movie, starring Jesus!

 In summertime there is a waterplay to cool down some kids mood... In winter it is a cute swan-lake!

 Here you can see a korean guy posting a wish on a christmas tree. It is usual to write a wish on a card and put into the tree. Maybe I will do it with John in two weeks...

 I think these are the only snowmen in Busan this year. Generally it is not snowing in Busan, because of the sea. 

 And the main place, did you see the doves?! 

 Even "It's skin" is in a big christmas mood!
