Seoul - Gyeongbokgung Palast Winter Edition!

Anjong,

yesterday was a pretty crazy day.... John wanted to visit "Building 63" in Seoul. When I told Dawoon he was pretty exited about it and said: "Oh yeah, the famous building 63!" So I thought, okay... lets do it...

I naverred (referring to Youjung) the way to get there and what we should expect to see....

Naver (Korean google) told me, that there is a Seaworld, a cinema, a big shopping mall, a food court (Ja, Janina, hier kann man beim Basketball spielen auch essen!!!) and lots of other stuff....

After getting of the subway we wanted to pass the rails and a huge highway. But there was no bridge to cross the highway.

After walking around like dead people for about one hour (and yes it was raining and snowing) we decided to go back home.... but in the subway a very friendly korean man asked us if he could help the distracted tourists... So he told us, that we have to take another subway to pass the streets, because there is no way to go by feet....

Finally we arrived at the building. We expected 63 floors with fun, shopping and food... and we found 1 floor very expensive shopping and eating, a seaworld and a small cinema.... So we took two pictures and left...

After rearranging our day we decided to go to the Gyeongbokgung palast, its the place Robert and me went 2months ago.

I have to say, that there is a complete different spirit during the winter time. Everything is covered with a very thin white ice surface and glitters in the sunlight, like Edward! Even the palast located in the lake was surrounded by ice.

 Ice, Ice, baby!
 Kung-Fu-Panda!
 Its a wind-detector....

And there was even more than Robert and me explored last time!

It felt like being in the residence of "Väterchen Frost" in english maybe "King cold"?!

So I think it was very special...
